Hi everyone.Another single-plugin update for Diabolic Cartography and the site is continuing to grow slowly, but steadily. This week's submission comes from Frio and this is one of the best quality plugins that I've seen lately. Frio reworked Duriel's Lair to a point where it isn't that boring little chamber anymore. Instead, it's a big maze with teleport pads, dead ends, monsters and chest to hunt for. Thanks, Frio.Until next time!New plugins:

Hello again and happy new year! The Diabolic Cartography continues to go strong in year 2007. The site was established in late 2003, so it has been more than 3 years since it all started. Let's all hope that people will continue to submit their plugins to the site and keep it alive for long time to come! This time we have 7 new plugins to offer on the site. 6 of them were made by CUBAHOLIC, who seems to enjoy creating different versions of plugins for the same level. He gives us 4 different plugins for the Graveyard and 2 for Tower Level 5. And SheX added a plugin for the Rogue Encampment in the mix, so you have enough to look at this time. Thanks! As usual, I'm awaiting your submissions on my e-mail address, listed on the Contacts page. See you next time!New plugins:

While talonrage continues to rework the preset levels in Act 1, CUBAHOLIC gave us yet one more new Act 3 town to play with. So get your hands on those plugins already!100 plugins! Yay!New plugins:

This of course is a great thing and I'd like to thank talonrage and CUBAHOLIC for their submissions. We have not less than 7 new plugins on the site this time. While talonrage prefers to modify the Act 1 levels, CUBAHOLIC edits Acts 3 and 5. So prepare to meet the new challenges and see you next time!New plugins:

Hi everyone!Welcome to this long awaited update of Diabolic Cartography! Much has happened since the last update - we moved to a new platform and we faced some problems with it, but this is all left behind now and the site is finally fully functional. We received several plugins during that time and I'd like to appologize to those who sent us their work, but it never got published. There was simply no way for us to do it.Now we're going to fix this with uploading all the plugins submitted meanwhile. We got 6 new plugins by Anson more than 6 months ago - they are added to the site now. Also, one impressive plugin by CUBAHOLIC was submitted a week or so ago - it's on the site too. Hope everyone enjoys the new additions!Until next time!New plugins:

Hello! My first news post here at Diabolic Cartography and I'm glad to announce 2 new plugins by a new mapper known as dyze. The plugins make your life easier by compacting towns resulting in less running around from npc to npc leaving you with more time to kill uglies, oh sorry I mean monsters!New plugins:

Hello.Another update to the Diabolic Cartography! This time it's a plugin that brings back a part of the Diablo history. You'll enjoy an original Diablo Tristram which keeps all the features from the burned down Tristram in Diablo 2. The plugin is made by me and I hope you'll enjoy it!It seems that less and less plugins are added to Diabolic Cartography lately, but you could be the one to change that. Got a new version of a map that you want to share with others? Contact us right away!Until next time.New plugins:

Hello!Just a little update to add one more plugin to the site. The Monastery Gate by Lalouste will run on every version of Diablo 2, so you don't have to worry, no matter if you run 1.10 or 1.11.I know, it's a short one, but that's how it is. Let's hope that next time we'll have more things to say.New plugins:

Greetings!Another week, another update! This time we offer only one plugin, but it's a very good one. Lalouste took the time to add taarna's crystals to the Act 4 mesa levels. The result is really worth the effort, so download the plugin and check it out for yourselves!Anyway, we are as usual expecting your creations. How to send them? Check out the Contacts page of the site.Until next time!New plugins:

Hello fellas!Geez, yet more maps? Yes, indeed! This week features three new maps, one from workaholic Hades who published his version of the Worldstone Chamber. The other two are both from ShamanKing, who already contributed some weeks ago and today brings us a new Duriel lair and Mephisto dungeon, which both seem to fit perfectly into your mod if you like it a tad on the overpowered side.Have fun mapping and modding!New plugins:

2005-02-15

Good day!I'm proud to present one of the biggest updates for a long time. This week we have 4 new plugins to offer. Thanks go out to Hades, Xenast and Red Havoc for submitting their work to the site. Hades did two plugins - Andariel level (again!) and Lut Gholein. Xenast got a new Kurast Docks plugin, and Red Havoc has redesigned the Cave level 2.I wish every week we could receive lots of new stuff like this week. You can make this reality! 2005-02-05

New update, new maps! Two more plug-ins have been submitted to the Cartography this week. Xenast created an unorthodox new Chaos Sanctuary, so if you´re looking for somethingdifferent, this plug-in might just be what you were looking for. And then we got another version of Tristram, created by ShamanKing. Both plug-ins are available for download in their respective sections, as usual.More stuff is under development, but of course any submissions are welcome.New plugins:

Hope you still remember me.Again, we only have one new plugin to put on the site, but at least itissomething.Well, I'll skip the requests to you to send us plugins and all this, you know it anyway, and I'm in a hurry. Happy new year all!Welcome to 2005 and a new year of D2 modding. Onyx and me hope you had a splendid X-mas and got well into the new year and both of us wish you all the best for whatever you might have planned for the coming 365 days. :)We´ve got a little update to start the new year slowly, more stuff however is already being worked at. For today, Caela has put together a completely new version of Lut Gholein, re-arranging practically the whole town and adding some nice stuff here and there. As usual, you can find the new plug-in in the act2 maps section.Even though you probably already guess what I´m trying to say now, I´ll do it anyway. ;) As we´ve pointed out numerous times before, the DC partly lives fromyourinput. Without new maps, we won´t be able to do updates and present new stuff to you, so if you´ve got a map laying around that you think would make a good plug-in, don´t hesitate and send it our way. Both onyx, me and thousands of modmakers... umm...wait... well, maybe not that many, but still alot of people will highly appreciate your efforts. :)New plugins:

Hey people,After more than 3 months without an update, wefinallyhave something to offer! It has been so long since someone gave us something that we almost forgot how to update the site. But fear not, Volf has came to the rescue once again, bringing us 4 (yes, FOUR!) plugins to feed the map gods. Big thanks go to him.Now listen to me very closely - PLEASE, people, don't forget this site's existance! Make a plugin from time to time and send it our way, so Diabolic Cartography doesn't look dead. We're counting on you! See you next time.New plugins:

Hi folks,We´ve got a little update this week, featuring only one new plug-in, but it´s at leastsomenews after a long wait again. UrbanLegendary has put together a new act3 town which includes spider cave tiles to make up for quite a different look to the old docks. Click the link below to get right to the download page of it.Check back once in a while, we don´t know when the next update to the Diabolic Cartography with new maps will be made, but that it will be is quite certain. ;)New plugins:

We´re back!Well, at least sort of... after a long time onyx and me finally managed to get some new stuff uploaded to the Diabolic Cartography. Taarna has extracted some nice object graphics from the online game Shattered Light Online, which we now turned into .dt1 files for usage in D2. And this isn´t all we´ve got, next week will bring further objects, so be sure to check back again.Of course we´re grateful for anything you want to contribute to us. Feel free to contact either me or onyx if you have something you´d like to offer for the Diabolic Cartography.New plugins:

Hi people,Long delay again between the last update and this one, but don't get mad at us. It's pointless to update when we don't have anything to put on the site. So we'll update only when we have something worthy to put, like now. This time we bring you (count them) FOUR new plugins. We haven't had such a rich update in some time. First - a Harrogath plugin by taLib - thank you for the submission. And second - 3 (!) plugins by Volf's recolored series. A big cheers to you Volf!We are expecting more of your masterpieces on our e-mail adresses. And happy Easter to you all!New plugins:

2004-03-18

Hello all!Well, well, well... looks like were finally over the peak of the mountain, since onyx and me are receiving new maps every week - which is good of course. This week we can again offer you a couple of really nice maps, that are worth being added to your mods. Let´s give a big hand to Eltear, who brought up yet another version of the Andariel boss level (I´ll vote that map for the most popular modded map award) as well as an extraordinary Lut Gholein. The third contribution comes from taLib, who created a nice new act3 town map.More great maps are already visible on the horizon. Lord_drekas has sent me progress images of a new and really titanic Mephisto Lair that he´s working on:Depending on when he will finish his work, we´ll surely get this map and put it up at the Diabolic Cartography. But we´ll of course release other maps in between, as long as people submit them to us.Read ya next update. :)New plugins:

-Red Havoc

2004-03-11

HiHere we go again with a new pile of map plugins for you to download! :) This week we have two new submissions by Andiamo, who sent us Cathedral and Catacombs level 4 plugins. By the way, Andariel's Lair turns out to be modmakers favorite, as we already have 4 (!) versions on the site. Variety is always good! Also, a nice plugin by Joel and Red Havoc has been released, it's Arcane Sanctuary, but not the one you know ;)You already know what I'm going to write here - we're waiting for your map plugins. Feel free to contact us and send your very own map works for others to download! I really hope I'm not too boring... :) See you!New plugins:

2004-03-04

HeyaNew week, new maps! Looks like more and more people are enjoying building maps since onyx and me are receiving more and more of them. And as long as this situation stays like that, we´re able to forward new plug-ins to you all.The Duriel´s Lair Plug-in we released last week had a small bug, but that one is fixed now, so you should be able to use without problems. That´s it for today :)New plugins:

2004-02-27

HiWe got this update on time! This is always a good thing and means we have plugins to feed the hungry modmakers out there :) Big thanks go out to Lord_Drekas, who submitted two of the plugins for this update, and also to Joel, who submitted one. But enough of sensless ramblings, let's head to the update. This, of course, doesn't mean we have enough! :) We're as usual waiting for your custom map works.New plugins:

2004-02-20

Hihowootness, just when you think it´s going to be another unspectacular update with little to offer, the exact opposite is going to happen! Actually, for this weekend we´ve got more material sent to us than we could manage at once, so a part of it will be exposed with the next site update. ;) We´re of course happy that there are still people out there willing to share their hard work they put into these maps, so let´s give Joel and Eltear a big hand. Yet another applause for onyx, who finally managed to kill a persistent bug in his great Viper Temple plug-in, so we´re able to release it now.Expect more maps to come with the next update. :)New plugins:

-Red Havoc

2004-02-07

HelloAgain we had a big delay between the previous update and this one, but nobody sends us anything. Are you asleep, guys? Only us two isn't enough to keep the site alive and update it regullary, so if you want it to remain here you should help us. Send either me or Red Havoc the maps you made and we'll add them to the site. This week we've got only one plugin, which I made just because I was in the mood :) It's our first Act 4 plugin in the site, so finally we don't have empty categories anymore. You can download it right from the act4 plug-ins page. Have fun and don't forget us!New plugins:

2004-01-26

Hi folkswe´re back with another update after a longer delay. Due to the fact that we don´t receive new plug-ins every week and because neither me or onyx are capable of making one for each weekend, we will from now on only update the site if new material is available. Currently onyx is busy with getting some things for his mod D2:Back to Hellfire done and I´m also involved in other projects, so it may take some time until the next news are here, but we and other mapmakers are still there, so don´t worry. ;)This week we´ve got two thing on our plate: Firstly, progress screenshots of a map that onyx is working on for quite some time already, but because of a couple of problem with it we weren´t able to release it. However, we think we´ve found a way to circumvent the trouble and finally bring this cool map into public. If all goes well, you´ll be able to download it from here next weekend, but for now I´ve got some teasers:As for the Chaos Sanctuary from which onyx posted screenshots last week, I´m working on it, but no new pictures to show you yet. We´ve got another real map plug-in too.As usual you can download it right from the act2 plug-ins page. Have fun!New plugins:

2004-01-16

Hello everyonefirst of all, we're sorry for the lack of updates recently, but we're not always able to supply enough plugins for a weekly update. So sometimes we may slow down the updates, but don't think you'll get rid of us - no way! :)As an excuse for the delay, we decided to show some progress screenshots from the plugins we are preparing for the Diabolic Cartography. This week it's Red Havoc's Chaos Sanctuary plugin, and I beleive he'll finish it soon:Looks good, right? Anyways, now to the update. Volf saved the day once again by supplying us with two plugins this week.I know, it's not much, but we're hoping the future updates will be better. That's why we count on you to send us your plugins! Have a nice time everybody.New plugins:

2004-01-04

Hi folksnew year is here at last, so welcome in the year 2004. :) Diablo II is really becoming an Oldie, but it´s just like that Bunny from the Duracell advertisement - it´s running and running and running ... and as long as it does, the Diabolic Cartography will continue to provide modmakers with map and .dt1 plug-ins.We haven´t got much to offer again, but that´s no surprise with all the holidays lately. Things will certainly change for the better, as soon as everybody got back into the swing of things.Volf has been busy again and provided us with a cool cowlevel plug-in. It does not only increase the cow level, but also adds a lot of features - go check it out. I have worked on a new .dt1 plug-in as well and finished it just in time for this update. The Elven Shrine is again taken from Pool of Radiance and again it fits perfectly into D2. As usual, you can grab it from the Raw .dt1 files section.Onyx and me are wishing you all a happy and successfull year 2004! :)New plugins:

2003-12-27

HelloChristmas is over, but there is still New Year to come. So this update comes between these two holidays and, no surprise, it's not a very rich one. It's the last update for this year too, so I'll say "Bye bye, 2003!"... :)What we have this week? First of all, I was preparing a nice little plugin, but I faced a problem I couldn't solve, so I delayed it for the next update. But then Volf came to the rescue, sending us two plugins made by him - recolored Lut Gholein and a Harrogath plugin. So we can still offer something this week, thank you, Volf! :PIn the end, we want to wish everybody a happy New Year. And we're waiting for your very own plugins, send them to us and we'll put them right here so everybody can use them. See you next year! :)New plugins:

2003-12-20

Hi everyone, christmas time is coming closer and with it all the hectic and stress about getting presents and preparing celebretions :P . This seems to reflect at the Diabolic Cartography too, since we´ve got less plug-ins this week than before. But of course, christmas is more important than modding or making maps and besides, with christmas come holidays and probably a bit more time to mod.Still we are happy about whatever plug-in someone of you may contribute to the site. If you´ve got something, simply drop me or onyx a note and it should be in the news the next week. Now on to what we have this week. We´ve checked and added some older plug-ins from Astalion: Baal´s Throne room and Andariel´s lair. Both are available for 1.09 and 1.10 from now on. Additionally, I have pulled out and finished another .dt1 from my private collection - a big round place with a tall column standing in the middle. You can grab it from the DT1 section of the site. We´ll see how busy everyone is over the holidays and will try to have at least one further update this year.Until then, onyx and me are wishing you all a happy christmas, a hard-working Santa, tons of presents and lots of happy hours with your family and the people you love. :)New plugins:

2003-12-13

Hi everybody, this week we have to offer another update for the Diabolic Cartography. All the new plugins we have are Act 1 plugins - it's no surprise since Act 1 is the most "modded" act. We have the first new plugin received and we hope we'll receive lots of them.As usually, you can contact us for any bugs, broken links or plugins you wish to share with us. Visit the Contacts page for more information. Have fun!New plugins:

2003-12-06

Hi folks, this week's a good week, because we're finally up and running. The Diabolic Cartography will replace the former map central Deathfile's Sanctuary and will from now on support modmakers with new maps, map plug-ins, dt1 files and much more for Diablo2.We hope to establish a place you'll like and to gather as many map plug-ins as possible to make this site a realcartography. For the start, we'll put up all the maps that once were available at Deathfile's Sanctuary as well as some brand new stuff during the next weeks. After that we're dependant on modmakers who send us their maps. So, whatever you've got, don't hesitate to drop eihter onyx or me a note and we'll luckily set it up here for everybody to put it into their mods. ;DWho's "we", you ask? Well, it's onyx and Red Havoc (me) :). Onyx is the developer of the upcoming mod "Back to Hellfire" and also forum moderator at the Phrozenkeep. I'm moderator at the Phrozenkeep Forums as well and we both will use our knowledge and experience with map editing to improve this site and add plug-ins too. Some notes about the site: We've seperated all plug-ins by the act they belong to. To get to all the plug-ins for a certain act, simply click on one of the buttons at the top. The following page will list all available plug-ins we've got, along with some sample screenshots and short desriptions to give you an idea about the maps and their features. If you've decided to try out one of them, simply click the download button and you'll get forwarded to FilePlanet from where you can grab the files. Before installing things, be sure to have a look at the Readme files that are included.Have fun!Comments, suggestions, constructive feedback about the site? Links not working? Maps crashing? Then please contact us over at the Phrozenkeep Forums via PM or in the Feedback Forum.New plugins:
